Valley Voices to Sing at Two Events - December 10th and 11th

The VCSU Community School of the Arts would like to invite you for two performances by the Valley Voices Woman’s Choir this Christmas season. The first performance will be a Christmas concert held at the Congregational United Church of Christ in Valley City (located at 217 4th St. NW) at 4 PM this Sunday, December 10th. The Valley Voices are under the direction of Victoria Hammel with accompaniment by Cindy Hill. The second performance will be the annual Christmas Caroling at the Courthouse will feature the Valley Voices and the Valley Troubadours (men’s choir) at 7 PM on Monday, December 11th. This event will be held at the Barnes County Courthouse (located at 230 4th ST. NW) Both events will feature a variety of Christmas music for the Holiday season.

 

The Valley Voices is a woman’s choir that is open to woman of all ages. The Community School of the Arts is now taking registrations for Valley Voices and the Valley City Community Band for spring 2024 semester. The cost for participants in these two groups is $35 a semester. Valley Voices group rehearses at 7 PM on Tuesday evenings in the Center for the Fine Arts Building (which is relatively new to the campus of Valley City State University). This thirty-two-million-dollar investment houses several departments and provides a beautiful space for the Community School of the Arts to host most of its events, rehearsals, and practices.
