Summer 2023 Music in the Park coming soon!

Music in the Park will be returning to the City Park Bandshell this summer on Wednesday evenings starting on June 7 at 7:15 pm.   This year will be the 27^th year of Music in the Park which began in the historic City Park Bandshell. 

 It was an enjoyable and entertaining summer last year celebrating 26 years in the park. 

The Bridges Arts Council is ready to bring another exciting line up to the park.  Special thanks to the Valley City Parks & Recreation for providing the City Park Bandshell and maintaining the beautiful City Park each week.  It makes for a great partnership!

• June 7:  Mylo Hatzenbuhler…. The Strausburg Rock ‘n’ Roll superstar.
• June 14: The Bluestem Family … family of brothers & sisters from Elgin, ND.
• June 21:  DeMasi Brothers … John & Joseph DeMasi.
• June 28: Kroshus & Krew
• July 5:  Micaiah Studio of Ballet…  dance by local youth dancers in her program
• July 12: Oakland Grove … family band
• July 19: Myron Sommerfeld & His Music…. With recognition to Peggy Lee
• July 26: FM Golden Notes New Horizons
• August 2: The Imperials… Brass Band group with Tom Kjelland participating.
• August 9:  Maasjo Sisters
• August 16:  Greg Hager

 

The programs begin at 7:15 pm at the Bandshell.  If the weather does not permit, they will be in the VCSU “New” Music Building Performance Hall, located on the VCSU Campus.  Each week a free will donation is taken and put towards the continued programs at the bandshell.   Bring a lawn chair, blanket/jacket and enjoy the outdoors and beauty of the City Park located on 4^th St. SW.   Questions, contact Diane at 840-1743.
